Crystal Lavender Project

  • Project focus: soft purple palette / warm brightness / contemporary with soft glam

  • Size: 35 m²

  • Scope: apartment design project

  • Year: 2026

Every part of the project is designed to be light and bright, but still warm and inviting through the curved lines. Like a light breeze through a lavender field.

Material selection was one of the key elements that helped bring warmth to the apartment. Since the palette is intentionally light, I relied on texture to create depth and character. Soft fabrics, marble patterns, limewash walls, and crystal details all contribute to a layered look that feels special.

Because the apartment is relatively compact, space planning played a huge role in the project. We wanted every area to feel open and easy to move through, while still giving each function its own place.

Storage was another important focus, so I looked for opportunities to maximize it without making the apartment feel crowded.

One thing I paid special attention to was using different shades of purple rather than relying on a single lavender tone. Periwinkle, lilac, and lavender each bring a slightly different mood to the space. Layering them creates a softer and more sophisticated look, while helping the color feel intentional instead of overwhelming.

The kitchen remained light and white, but there's a little extra here too, just like throughout the rest of the home. Crystal cabinet handles add a subtle sparkle and make the space feel more special. To create a stronger connection with the living room area, I chose a lavender glitter plinth in the same shade as the feature wall, running beneath the cabinetry. It's a small detail, but one that ties the kitchen into the overall design concept and brings a touch of personality to an otherwise minimal composition.

The bathroom is quite small, so instead of pretending otherwise, I turned it into a jewel box. The periwinkle shade itself plays an important role. It sits between lavender and blue tones, making it feel softer and fresher, but it definitely has the personality of purple. I paired this shade with soft neutral tiles, keeping the overall space calm and balanced. The crystal handles add a layer of sparkle that feels almost jewelry-like. The goal was designing a tiny spa retreat hidden behind a periwinkle door.

The bedroom continues the crystal lavender concept of the apartment, but in a smoother and more relaxed way.

This project is a great example of how comfort, function, and design can work together.
